ハワイ州、PASを合法化

ハワイ州下院議会で3月6日に39対12で法案が通過。
その後、上院議会を29対2で通過。

4月5日、知事が署名して、法律となった。

（法律があるという意味では、モンタナを除き7番目）

T・Popeが、ハワイの法律は他の州よりも厳格なセーフガードを整備している、と。
具体的には、以下の3点。

While all state statutes impose waiting periods, Hawaii's 22-day waiting period is the longest.
Hawaii limits MAID to those with terminal illnesses that will produce death within six months even with reasonable and ordinary medical treatment.
Hawaii also limits MAID to those over 21 years old instead of 18 like other states.
